The stage is set in the United States during a time when the media dismisses reports of unidentified flying objects as mere weather balloons and conspiracy theories. However, the residents of Greyhill soon discover that their government is concealing the horrifying reality. Paranormal activities have surged over the past few days, leaving the once peaceful community gripped with fear and paranoia. Trust in authority has waned, and residents hesitate to involve the police, fearing the stigma of being labeled as insane. Instead, they take matters into their own hands, forming a neighborhood watch and fortifying their homes, boarding up windows in a desperate attempt to defend against the encroaching terror.
Guiding Ryan Baker, an unassuming protagonist thrust into extraordinary circumstances, players will navigate the labyrinthine streets of Greyhill, a once-idyllic neighborhood now cloaked in shadows and shrouded by a sense of impending doom. Armed with only his wits, a baseball bat, and a scarce supply of ammunition, Ryan must rely on stealth, cunning, and sheer determination to survive the relentless onslaught of extraterrestrial invaders. The fate of the neighborhood rests on his shoulders, and time is running out.
