Melody of Memory visits many of the Disney worlds from past games in the series, including Agrabah (Aladdin), Atlantica (The Little Mermaid), and Wonderland (Alice in Wonderland), as well as original worlds such as Twilight Town. Additionally, the game continues Kairi’s story from the end of Kingdom Hearts III.
Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory includes a variety of locations that should be familiar to long-time players and Disney fans alike. Destiny Island and Traverse Town are among the many of the Kingdom Hearts worlds shown thus far. Places like Monstro, Agrabah, and Wonderland can be seen via a shot of the jukebox in one trailer.
Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory features online and local multiplayer modes where players compete to see who can get the highest score. The Nintendo Switch is also getting an exclusive “Free-For-All” mode which will allow up to eight participants in local multiplayer to face off. Melody of Memory will continue the story of the series after the events of the Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind DLC.
